See What Rashford Did To Mbappe After United’s PSG Win On Wednesday

Man Utd fans love what Rashford did to Mbappe after PSG win

Rashford scored United’s winner in Paris as they fought back to reach the last eight of the Champions League

Marcus Rashford was Manchester United’s hero as they stunned PSG in the Champions League.

United had a mountain to climb in the last-16 encounter as they travelled to the French capital without 10 players, trailing 2-0.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s players delivered an incredible performance as Romelu Lukaku scored twice before Rashford’s last-gasp penalty.

The win sparked wild scenes on and off the pitch but Rashford showed his humility as he consoled PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe.

Rashford was seen putting his arm around the dejected Frenchman and patted him on the head as he made his way off the pitch.

The pair had been compared in recent months but it was Mbappe who appeared to have the edge after the first leg at Old Trafford.

But Rashford grabbed the headlines in Paris as United ensured another memorable European night.

Unsurprisingly, United fans were loving the sportsmanship of their 21-year-old striker.

Romelu Lukaku was also seen consoling PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe at the final whistle.

The Frenchman was adjudged to have handled Diogo Dalot’s late strike for the penalty award and was seen in tears at full-time.

But while his teammates were heading over to the travelling United support, Lukaku hugged Kimpembe and attempted to lift his spirits.

Lukaku also revealed after the encounter what he told Rashford before the late penalty.

United’s No.9 was on a hat-trick, as he was against Southampton on Saturday, but was happy for his strike partner to step up and score.

“I was happy that he scored. He came to me and wanted to shoot,” Lukaku told beIN Sport.

“I said ‘man, this is your time. Do it for yourself and us’.”
