Graduate of physics writes to Davido, seeks job opportunity at father’s $2 billion power plant
A Nigerian graduate in Physics Electronics has reached out to popular singer, Davido, seeking an opportunity to work at his father’s $2 billion power plant project.
The request was made in a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter), aimed at attracting the singer’s attention.
Davido’s father, Adedeni Adeleke, has previously stated that he contributes approximately 15 percent to Nigeria’s electricity generation.
He also announced plans for a power plant set to launch in January 2025, with a budget of around $2 billion.
In response, Davido took to social media to express pride in his father’s achievements.
Following this, Olasupo Olakunle Nasir posted on X, writing:
“Good day @davido, “I am truly impressed with the news of your father’s power plant project. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work there to kickstart my long-held dream career. I am an innovation enthusiast, and power generation is a field I am passionate about. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to gain practical experience, as I have been focused on survival amid financial constraints.”
“This project was almost the topic of my final year project in university, but financial issues prevented my colleagues and me from pursuing it. I am a graduate of Physics Electronics from the Federal University of Technology, Minna. I am also from Osun State, specifically Ede.”
“I admire the work your uncle is currently doing in Ede, reconstructing the main roads, particularly the one passing in front of my family house in the Cottage area, opposite the Cottage Hospital. Though I was born and raised in Kaduna State, I always return to Ede for the Ileya festivals.”
“May Almighty God continue to bless your efforts. I hope you will consider my request, as this opportunity would help me fulfill my dream of working in this field, which I have aspired to since childhood. I promise to be a representative you and my family can be proud of.”
