Man labels VeryDarkMan a ‘fraud boy’ over ₦180 million NGO hack claim turned ‘cruise’
A Nigerian man has labeled social media personality VeryDarkMan a “fraud boy,” accusing him of playing the victim in a recent controversy involving his NGO.
The allegations surfaced in a post shared on the man’s page via X (formerly Twitter). He criticized VeryDarkMan over his inconsistent claims about an alleged hacking incident.
Initially, VeryDarkMan had posted a video claiming that ₦180 million was stolen from his NGO account by hackers, reportedly traced to Jos.
However, days later, he admitted that the claim was false and that the incident was meant as a joke or “cruise.”
In response, the man dismissed VeryDarkMan’s original claims, asserting that the money was never stolen.
This led to a back-and-forth, with VeryDarkMan releasing another video addressing the criticism and speaking extensively about the man’s remarks.
Reacting to the new video, the man reiterated his accusations, stating: “I am still not sure why this fraud boy is crying. He said money was stolen. Nigerians said it’s a lie and advised him he is damaging his reputation. Why is he shouting like the victim?”
As the exchange gained traction online, concerned individuals flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on the unfolding drama.
