Wizkid Greets Governor Sanwo-Olu After Performance (Video, Photos)

Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, created a buzz at the Greater Lagos Countdown when he stepped down from the stage after his performance to greet Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Fans erupted in excitement, with one shouting, “Come to your governor, bro!” as Wizkid made his way toward the governor.

The Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos was the epicenter of energy and celebration on Wednesday night, as some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars lit up the stage to welcome the New Year, 2025.
